Hello,
Looking at the CZ m452 in Varmint and Lux models. A club I shoot with has a bbl. muzzle size restriction, so, trying to find the dia. of the Varmint model, but can't find it on the net incl. the CZ site. anyone who has one, can tell me please. Thanks. Then I have to decide between one or the other.:)

The CZ 452 Varmint has a tapered barrel and measures as cons69rs shows. The CZ 455 Varmint barrel is thicker and does not taper. The 452 Lux barrel is thinner, of course.
Like hamilton729, I'm curious about the muzzle size restriction.

Guys,
Thanks for the replies and info.
Well, I direct .22 and CF Benchrest matches at our local club, and we shoot open class in both. No weight nor scope restriction. So, shooters are using the best they can afford. In our 22BR matches 80% are Anschutz. And you see some customs and 40-X's. And the scores show. We are glad to have Anschutz supply close by at Nordic Marksman Inc. in NS (Anschutz). Yes, I am an Annie fan, lol
But, I digress. We have a couple 22 "sporter" shoots in our club, and have no bbl size limits ; the rifle just has to have a sporter configuration; no BR stocks, etc.. But at a couple of other clubs in the province, they have "sporter" class matches and have a barrel restriction size to 0.82" at one club, and 0.65" at another. So, you see why I am looking for a good sporter w. small enough bbl. sizes so I can compete. And most of the specs for 22's do not indicate bbl. dia. at the muzzle. Now I know about the CZ's.

ps Since found a real good shooting 452Varmint c/o another Gunnut. Very happy.

Thanks again for all the feedback. My 453Varmint w. 8-25x scope and Lapua SK Mag is shooting awesome. Very happy. Planning to use it at the Petti sporter shoots this summer.
But Annies are still my no.1 love.

Pictures? Ok, here you go. Nice stock and a real good shooter. Really like it, but going up on the EE shortly.
