CZ/VZ 858/58 Comp

Hi everyone, i am looking to put a comp on my 858 and am just wondering which one seems to work the best.

Right now I think the quick discharge comp from vz58.net is agreed to work the best. However, I think Questar (supporting dealer) will be offering PWS comps that fit the vz at some point.

how about a parallel (lateral) compensator? nice for shooting without hearing/eye protection, and no muzzle flash, sounds nice too. I'll consider running some off in the future if people are interested.....

nope, once that damn CZ is in my hands and november begins I'll whip one up and put some rounds through it, on film. parallel compensators seem to work extremely well though, especially for directing the sound away from the shooter, and decompressing the muzzle flash.

What I like about the Marstar unit is the reduced stock slap.

I have a CZ 858 and tried every single type and came up with an overall top one to pick and this was it.

If you test the Marstar vs the Infratek I think you will find the Infratek more effective. Its an easy test - a ruler beside the gun , the gun mounted on a slider of some sort {skateboard} the slider on a rail {2 broomsticks} -shoot and measure.

Vertical rise test is even easier - a ruler vertical beside the brake - gun on a rest - shoot - watch how high it flips.

Well, this brake/compensator is already here.
It's an improved version of an older design
slightly modified for a better performance
and it's made in Canada.
It will also have a better price than PWS.

Fat pimp palinak will be selling these in about 2-3 weeks,
as well as the version of that same brake/compensator for the AR15
(originally it started as an AR15 compensator).

I'm shooting one of the quick discharge comp's from vz58.net... Love it. It's a whole new world with that one on there. Only thing that this gun is missing is a "go faster switch".
