cz/vz butt plate and wood stock removal

Hi all, looking for suggestions and tips. I did a casual search and could not find an obvious old post on this, would like first hand experience advice.

I need to remove a real wood stock from a cz/vz. The metal butt plate must have been screwed on by a rhino or Arnold Schwarzenegger, I tried using a very large screw-driver with the proper sized flat head but it would not budge. After I remove the butt plate obviously I will then have to remove the stock itself and I am anticipating the same tightness.

I do want to keep the wood stock and hardware in good condition, so before I go ape on it, can someone either please advice me or point me to existing info on this topic?

Get screwdriver socket bits and a ratchet. I've never seen a buttplate that hard to get off, but the stock bolt is usually a b!tch.

pop your dust cover off after you get the butt plate and spray some wd40 on that bolt to help it move a little. Wait 5 minutes for it to penetrate the threads and she will come off with a little muscle.
