CZ VZ grips

I have two sets for my CZ, found the diamonds TOO aggressive but they can be softened with some abrasive. I have the standard grips in red and Frags in Hyena and love them both. Also have a set of 320's on my Hi-Power.

Make sure you e-mail them before buying as shipping to Canada through the site is WAY over priced.

Do you find the frags to be as grippy as the stock rubber ones? Diamonds? Were they the tactical or the Diamond Backs that were too aggressive?

I have a set for sale on the EE right now: diamond backs in hyena brown. EXCELLENT grips (I run some on my 1911, too), and miles better than any of the stock CZ grips IMO. They are thinner than the CZ rubber grips, which was a huge plus for me and my preferred grip.

I like an aggressive texture, personally, and if you're shooting a 9mm out of a heavy steel gun like your Shadow, your hand will not get rubbed the wrong way (if you know what I mean). If you've got anything resembling a reasonable hand strength, the pistol simply doesn't move in your hand under recoil (no movement = no abrasion). The aggressive texture just makes your grip feel more "locked in", and you can use less grip strength to get the same degree of control.

Mine were too sharp in the area immediately under the third phalanx of my trigger finger (not part of your "grip" per se), so I smoothed the tops of those diamonds and I couldn't have been happier. If I were keeping my CZ pistol, I'd be keeping these grips for sure...

I have the tactical diamonds and the frags, I found the diamond backs too aggressive when I was at their booth at SHOT. Both the Tactical diamonds and frags are plenty grippy and you should be pleased with either of them. Like I said, a bit of sandpaper will take the points off... So choose which ever you like best.

Slightly unrelated as its my HiPower but I love VZ grips. I wish they made K and L frame grips.

Crap, I was thinking the Tactical Diamonds were the way to go, but the frags look pretty good. Thinking of the black desert sand or the black cherry.. Any inputs on which color to get?

Hey, don't go by just what I say. All the colours are great, really personal preference

I just received my set of Dirty Olive Operator II 1911 grips for my Norc CanadaAmmo deal. They look and feel great. I was debating over the Hyena Brown which also look awesome. Ive been looking at buying a SR1911 as well and if I get one Im definitely ordering a set of Operator II's again but in black cherry.

Shipping was 22 bucks and it arrived in 2 weeks, same day as my mags from Tripp Research :)......now just need the gun and ammo to arrive lol

Thats it, I gotta order some tomorrow haha. Shipping is reasonable for sure, and 2 weeks is fine as well. I really like the black cherry as it looks more vintage to me. The hyena brown is nice as well, and for a more modern look the black desert sand looks good. If they were only $40 each I could buy 4 of them.

Ok so I have tactical diamonds in dirty olive on route. I will have to learn how to post pics when they arrive.
Thanks to all who replied.
