The guys in the black rifle forum helped me pick an AR - can you all help with my first red?

I'm thinking shorter and folding stock. I like wood. Range use only.
7.62 or 5.56 ?
11" or 7.5" ?

7.62 and 11". Corrosive isn't a big deal if you have a chrome lined bore and 11" so you can still use aftermarket handguards and the same gas system.

Same here. The only reason I'd think about the .223 is to get the AR mag adapter to use LAR10 mags... but if we may see one for the 7.26 it's a no brainer.
 
CSA VZ58 11.75" all black folding
CSA VZ58 11.8" all black folding
What's the difference between above two?
FSN-01K 11" (has wood/resin) folding

Are there anymore 11" 7.62 I should shop?
Are there 11" CZ 858's or just CSA and FSN?

Well, I dont think you can even get one of the FSN's cuz it seems Marstart has yet to bring more in and CSA is currently the only other company making the the shorties. Unless you want to buy a CZ and send it to dlask to have one custom made for yourself.

There are 10 round magazines and adapters for 7.62.........

Well that settles it. No wood in the 11" - I will have to order a kit I guess.

No new cz/csa come with wood. the one you saw of mine was custom made. that is really the only way to get wood unless you buy the ''stock'' wood from wolverine seperate.
