My new cz452 American in 17HMR is supposed to have a 3/8" dovetail...it doesn't. Either that or every scope ring maker out there is making there mounts too small. Dovetail mounts are supposed to fit. Not just be "close enough". These new dovetails on the 452 are at least 0.050-0.060" bigger then the typical 3/8" mount. If they don't fit, the scope will be off center and the clamps will tip in miss-matching the angles.
