Put a Yodave kit in my 452 Lux last night. Started because I couldn't fall asleep. My suggestion is if this is you, wait till the next day after you've had a good rest.
Made a booboo right off the bat, took the front sear pin out by mistake, and sure enough that tiny little steel ball sprang out, luckily I didn't lose it. Kinds figured out I'd made a mistake
when I looked at a bunch of videos and no one else took that pin out, how smart they are. About 45 minutes of frigging around before I got it, used gun grease I've had kicking around for
25 years to help stick it to the spring.
Also, double and triple check what size punch you're using for each pin. Ended up using a very fine Phillips screwdriver for the smaller pin, worked like a charm. Also, a magnetic tray for
all your parts is nice to have, lots of parts roll around, not hard to lose something you may have to buy and wait 2 or 3 weeks to replace.
Got it together with the 2nd heaviest spring, have yet to bump test it, but it sure doesn't have any creep at all now. May go one spring heavier if I can't adjust this one a big higher tension.
Have to get a trigger scale - anyone recommend one for people on a budget like me?
