CZ455 replacement barrels

I have been thinking about getting myself a 455FS but I am not sure if it is possible to swap barrels the same way as you swap them on other 455s? Has anyone done it on the FS model? Also, I would like to know where is the best place to order the CZ replacement barrels from. Thank you!

Shouldn't be a problem swapping barrels, as for who's got em no idea. I would call some dealers that sell CZ rifles, Prairie Gun Traders usually has a good supply of CZ stuff.

They are all pretty much the same barrels just different contours or some have sights. They all bolt into the receiver the same.

I am wondering how the replacement barrel fits the hood on the FS model. I agree that the receiver/barrel interface shouldn't be an issue.

Apart form the trainer and the sr ones they are all 20.5 - 20.6"

I picked up a CZ455 Lux in .17HMR 2 years ago from Epps and was lucky enough to pick up a new 22LR Lux barrel for it a year later from Epps for $115 . Since then I have been searching everywhere in Canada for a 22WMR Lux barrel with no results. I have seen the barrel listed in backorder status on one site with a price of $225. Am now wondering if I was extremely lucky to pick up the 22LR barrel for that price and lucky to find a Lux barrel at all in Canada? If anyone has any leads on a 22WMR Lux barrel, I would love to know as well.

I know Bashaw had .17HMR Lux barrels, so maybe they can also get .22WMR. Heard good things about Del Selins too. I don't think many people advertise them even though they have them.
