Just got my goodies in the mail today.
Got to assemble my CZ 457 MTR in a Manners stock.

Initially I tried a Savage off a CGNer, which didn't give me ergonomics I wanted.
Dropped that Savage in an Oryx, ergonomics weren't better.
So to get my true full sized Manners build ergonomics, I had to make a new Manners CZ 457 build!

Tom at Go Big Tactical sold me a CZ457 MTR barreled action with a rebate since I didn't take the factory stock with it.
Also supplied me with spare mags, Area 419 30moa Rail, Area 419 14'' ARCA rail.
The ARCA was stressfull to install as I had to drill a new hole in that Manners, which I wanted looking clean and professional, had to drink 2-3oz of gin to get my steady hand!
The stock was so soft to drill it's surprising that it's so ridgid.

That is it for now, she looks as good as my centerfire version and physically feels the same, is rear heavy thought, I wish I could give it more weight at the muzzle as my centerfire is perfectly balanced in front of barricade stop.
Trigger breaks at exactly 1lb.
And got 3000x SK RM I can give a go with!
Range report coming soon...

Oh and BTW, what torque you guys putting on CZ 457 action screws for best results?
Since Manners has metal pillars I started it at 25in/lbs.

Adam, yes it’s threaded I could look into it sooner than later.

Bushbum, Bighorn Origin action, TT diamond trigger, IBI 6.5x47L barrel.
One of my last range visits as I just finished my 200M load dev.
5 shots at 200M, 37.4gn H4350 (not 34.4 had a brainfart)

Since your stock had metal pillars start with your 25 and work up for accuracy if you have the time and patience. Forget about what others have their's set at.

Thanks, never even imagined doing a .22 load dev around torque.
Could start at 20 in 5in increments up to 35 and see what gives.
Once broken in that is.
