Hi all,
I bought a CZ75 new edition. At the 9th round the magazine fall down and the last round didn't load. I thought I had pushed on the release as my left hand thumb is just over it. I shoot a few more mag and I had the same issue a few times, even taking care of my position. I then tried to shoot one hand and at this time it was even worst, the magazine falling at each round. He same for the 2 CZ magazines.

Any ideas? Thanks

The mag catch is not engaging properly. It has to be fixed/changed by an approved CZ center.

please post pics of your gun, grips, mags and mags in the gun. If you take pull your slide and take a pic down the magwell so we can see the mag catch, that would help.

Thanks for your replies
I have disassembled the gun to have a better look.
I found that the mag is loose and the flat spring is not pushing on it. I just add a little piece of paper and it seems to solve the issue. I'll go to the range to test today.
Any idea on the best fix?

to me it sounds like the follower is pushing on the mag release (inside mag)-- unlockes the mag --or close so when you fire a shot -- mag falls out

My guess would be something else. You shimmed the mag brake. It may hold the mag in but the problem is probably in the magazine release or magazine. When the brake is curved it will stop the mag falling free when you try to use magazine release. It is not intended to hold the magazine in the firearm when shooting.

yeah shimming the mag brake is not a fix dude. In the guns where it's a flat brake it's just there to stop you from jamming a mag into the hammer spring/strut area. That's it. On the guns where it does have a bend, it's there to prevent the mag from ejecting, ONCE, the mag button is pressed. It allows the mag to pop out part way. There is something else wrong with your gun, sorry.
