Hi.
Im finding my new to me pistol is shooting quite low.
Maybe its me just shooting poorly but I suspect the sights.
The front post has a strange notch in the middle.
Any suggestions?
Thank you

Changing ammo could help as well. There are a lot of other factors, grip, range, sight picture etc but going to a heavier bullet (147 gr vs 115 gr) can make a difference too.

I always “experiment “ with different brands and weights in my 9mm’s . . I have one pistol that doesn’t do #### with 115 grn but then it’s great with 124 grn . Also I have a really old 9mm that loves, 147 grn , but the same 147 grn, will shoot really “high” with the other pistols .I suggest to buy several weights in one brand of ammo, say, ( 3) boxes at a time . And try em’out. You might be pleasantly surprised.. at least before you start swapping sights out.

A file on the front would raise your point of aim, depending how low it is shooting.
Try it off a good rest or sandbag, and see what the group looks like .
If it is new to you , let someone else shoot and see what they do, same thing, than you know it is the gun versa the gunny.

If it is way off, the rear could be built up with solder and iron, than flat black paint, or blue, but blue don't work on solder.
