CZ75 SP-01 Kadet kits in Canada yet?

LOL I didn't know they have one specifically for SP-01.

OTOH my Kadet2 kit is working perfectly with my Shadow, and fits the Bladetech DOH for same.

Who carries the Kadet kits in Canada? (I'll admit I've not looked too deeply yet)
PM wildoats he may be able to help you out, his prices are very competitive. ;)

And no, there are no better options than Kadet IF you use your Shadow in competition. There are cheaper .22 pistols but none of them would handle the same way as your 9mm production gun - less recoil. I used GSG 1911 for almost a year before I got the kit, and it is a terrific inexpensive .22. But it will not help you shoot the Shadow better.

My kit required stoning the slide in two spots to fit the Shadow. YMMV.

But, the other guns do help your pistol shooting skills. Pistol shooting skills are transferable. But, you are right as far as having the exact same trigger and controls. I do shoot a Shadow in competition but, I dont think I can ever swallow the rediculous price CZ is charging for the Kadet kit. I thought about it for sure but, its just a rip off compared to other conversion kits and guns.

Keep in mind, the Kadet (or Kadet 2) kit may or may not have to be modified for your SP-01 series. From the CZ global site:
The Kadet conversion kit is designed to be installed on the CZ 75 and CZ 85 pistols made in the following versions CZ 75, CZ 75 B, CZ 75 B Stainless, CZ 75 BD, CZ 75 BD POLICE, CZ 85 B, CZ 85 B SA, CZ 85 Combat and related variants (anniversary and limited series).

The Kadet can be also used for pistol models designated as the CZ 75 Compact, CZ 75 D Compact, CZ 75 P-01 and CZ 75 P-06. It should be noted that regarding these models the external contours of the conversion kit and the pistol frame are not fully compatible. The reason is that the Kadet conversion kit is optimised to the frame of standard size. Instalment of the conversion kit should be entrusted to an authorized armourer or competent gunsmith. The correct functioning of this unit is secured by the proper match fitting of the conversion kit with the pistol frame.

The Kadet is not intended for pistols with following designations CZ 75 B Omega, CZ 75 P-07 Duty, CZ 75 SP-01 Phantom. Models bearing designations CZ 75 Tactical Sports and CZ 75 Standard are also not suitable for named conversion kit instalment. For the use with pistols bearing designation as the CZ 75 SP-01, CZ 75 SP-01 Tactical and CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow the conversion kit requires some adaptations to be made by a competent gunsmith. The conversion kit in .22LR cal. suitable for the CZ 75 B Omega and the line of the CZ 75 SP-01, SP-01 Tactical and SP-01 Shadow models, will come into our company manufacturing programme in the coming months.

No such thing as a SP01 kadet kit ;)

The Kadet kit will fit the SP01 though :D

Yes, I know that considering I have one, but I did see a topend to match the frame of the SP01. Not the top end of a 75 put on the Railed frame before. I will look thru all of my saved CZ sites and post pics.
Yes there might be such thing, ill try and look for everyone.

CZ makes a .22 Kit and it fits their entire line of pistols 75x or SP-01. Go to CZ UB site. They list one for all. The fitting is just to match the slide rail towards the muzzle end of the gun. MIne slides on my Shadow and 85Combat.

Take Care

Bob
