CZ75 SP-01 Tactical OAL Test Question

Hi, I was doing a drop-in-barrel test to determine the OAL on newly purchased CZ75 SP01 Tactical and noticed that while the bullet is not touching the rifling, the base of the cartridge is not exactly flush with the port like on all other pistols I have. I got the feeling this might be ok as CZ is somewhat special, but don't want to count on that and don't want to find out on the range with loaded ammo as well. currently the catridge is loaded to 1.105" and the same as the wolf ammo I have been using that works on all my other pistols. The base is about 0.045" which means to make it flush with the port, the OAL would be 1.06".

The 1.105" dummy rounds do move freely in the barrel without touching the rifling. Also loaded up with mags fine, the loaded chamber indicator pops out and eventually the dummy rounds ejected fine as well.

So, is this normal for CZ as shown in the picture below, or anyone shot CZ shadow or tactical with wolf reloaded ammo ok? Thanks!

I load to a COAL of 1.10" for all of my 9mms including a CZ75-01. My STI Trojan liked 1.15" when it was new but ate up 1.1"ers just fine last weekend... Benefit of break in or my imagination? I don't know.

thanks for another confirmation.

I have 2500-3000 9mm reloads (by me) that work in 6 different 9mm pistols that I own......

Not a single round will chamber in my CZ sp01..... They need to be .010" shorter!

For the life on my I can't seem to remember what the OAL for the CZ actually is!

I am happy to report that my handloads @1.105" worked beautifully in m new cz 75 sp-01 tactical. the gun is indeed a great pistol. accurate and almost recoil free. range report is coming
