I've been looking at them as well.

From what I've found I think they have stopped exporting them to north america.

Probably trying to push the p07 and p09 here instead. They are cheaper but also take different mags holsters etc.

So not really cheaper to the guy who already has those.
 
I picked up a used one this week from Dante.

They are not discontinued. Just no longer exported here.

They are used by the Czech military and still on the cz website.

And there certainly isn't a lack of demand for them. A batch showed up in the us not to long ago and people went nuts to get them while they could.
