I am wanting to reduce the length of pull of DA on my CZ Shadow SP 01. I see Cajun Gunworks offers a kit but it seems like the right parts from CZ custom can do this.

Has anyone does it? Did it affect the SA length of pull or weight? Did it up the DA weight? Are there domestic sources for the parts to do it?

I think there’s a little confusion here in the terminology. I am fine with the reset length.

What I want is the starting point where the trigger is at rest in DA to be further back and nothing else. I think what has been said is that the disconnector will do this. The CGW kit does this with a combination of a disconnector and a different style trigger spade.

You are correct. I have a Reach Reduction Kit on my Shadow 2 and it "moves" the trigger back so that my finger reaches the trigger safely - every time. Although it takes up the "slack" of the trigger pull, it physically moves the trigger back towards the grip.

Sounds like you’re getting into a trigger reach distance something similar to a Glock.

2.9” - 0.15” = 2.75”. That’s pretty much a G17 kind of reach.
