I emailed sales at Marstar to ask if their Mec Gar mag for the cz75 would fit my cz75b, I thought it would but wanted to be sure. The reply, and I thought to be rather rude, was "NO IT WILL NOT FIT"

No reason why or offer of an alternative product and as someone in sales that responds to emails daily, I'm pretty sure he/she knows that all caps in bold is equivelent to YELLING. So does anyone know if the mag in fact will fit/function and also is Marstar usually like this to deal with?
Thanks,
Outwestt

I think thier use of caps and bold was a convenience to you to show you quickly where and what the response was. Sometimes finding a response in a message is difficult depending what else was in the message.

They get into a habit responding that way to all posts not just yours. I have had a number of emails back and forth to them. With the replies and the answers within the body of my messages the use bolding the current response does help find the new information.

You're lucky you even got a response. I have yet to receive a reply for my question and that was from early last year.
You have that right. I have given up on Marstar. I've had no replies on the four or five emails I have sent over the last six months. Nuf said.

If Marstar doesn't do it for you, then you should try Freedom Ventures....his ad is at the top of the page.

I got some Tangfolio mags from them last summer and they fit my CZ75B like fingers in a glove.

Also, Freedom Ventures has that "maritimer" attitude, which means you'll be treated like a customer or potential customer should be treated.

I haven't shot my CZ75B in a long time because I have the Kadet Unit on it. With this said, I do not remember any problem switching magazines between my CZ75 and CZ75B. You might want to ask the people on the CZ board:http://p201.ezboard.com/bczechpistols82792

I'll give them a try, even if it costs a few more bucks, I'd gladly pay to deal with good people.

K- Went all over the CZboard as linked to me by Richard Oldfield. From all posts I could find on the topic, CZ75mags will work in a CZ75B. However the 75B mags may not work in the older 75 as the mag well is slightly narrower.
Mec Gar was mentioned as a good mag, and that happens to be the one I was originally asking Marstar about when their sales guy blew up at me.(see post #1)
