Hello,

When im out firing my cz85 (preB) the last round does not apear to eject fully and gets stuck between the port and the slide. Sometimes the casing does not eject at all and only come out when I take the mag out.

Any suggestions on this?

Difficult to visualize... has the round fired or not even chambered?

At any rate, since the fact is that you state you are only having problems with your "last round" I suspect your magazine spring is weak. Get a new (stronger) mag spring and you should be good to go.

this happens with both mags. Picture a casing getting clamped in the ejection port when the slide closes on the last round (becasue im holding the release down for some reason)

or

the slide closes, but the last round casing remains in the gun and falls out when i release the mag.

this is after firing/being chambered

A pre-B Cz85 is now about 15 years old, it could very well be the mag springs - does this pistol have fixed or adjustable sights? If they're fixed the pistol dates back to the mid '80's, and it may have been military production. I had one of these pistols, if the springs are original, get a set of Wolffe springs for it - including the mag springs. Also if you're shooting reduced loads, or lead reloads this can happen. If you're shooting lead, the answer is to size the bullets to not less than .356. One final thing, use a piece of a 3x5 recipe card to clean the extractor hook and between the extractor and slide (as far as you can), they can gum up pretty badly.

underpowered loads, strong recoil spring. Either of those would cause the shell to barely eject, Had the same prob with my .45 & I solved it with hotter loads.

Im using S&B 124gr factory ammo, the pistol is marked 1986. I got it used and dont know if the mags are original to this pistol

Definitely NOT the ammo, S&B is just about perfect for that pistol 'real, European 9mm' is what it was made for. If you know anyone else with a CZ ask to borrow a magazine and swap the spring out as a test (don't forget to put it back :D ) use your follower and baseplate in your tube. As far as the recoil spring goes, I do mine every 5,000 rounds in full size guns since they're cheap insurance, and at 3,500 in my compact 1911. Wolffe are very easy to deal with as far as ordering direct goes, just order less than $100 (it's actually very hard to spend $100 on gun springs) and they do the rest, very quickly.
