CZ858-2 no Good for the USA

i sent in my form6. got it back with all ok'd except the CZ was crossed off. their reason was "may contain full automatic parts or reciever"

i thought the CFC made up stupid rules. we can own these as non-restricted but the BATF thinks they might be full auto....

Canadian law differs from US. South of the border, if a receiver ever was FA, it is always classed as FA, no matter what has been done to it. Here, if a FA receiver was never assembled into a complete FA firearm, then it is quite acceptable to assemble a SA firearm on the receiver. This is why these CZ & VZ rifles may be imported into the country.
