Hello:

I was wondering if anyone has seen short 5 round mags for the CZ858 anywhere. I have the 5/30's now, but would like something shorter/easier to pocket.

I guess it wouldnt hurt to know a source of 5/30's too. Lever doesnt stock either type.

TIA

Milarm has a deal on the 5/30 mags right now: $35.00/ea or $25.00/ea of you buy 10 or more.

I ordered 3 last time they had a similar deal (but you got the $25.00 price if you bought 3 or more instead of 10). It was an easy order, and they delivered pretty quickly. I plan on buying more from them.

Cheers!

The short ones are cut down 30's with a piece of plastic riveted to the bottom........brutal.

I was afraid of that. I could butcher/experiment on my current magazines, but I was hoping there was something decent already out there. One of my original 5/30's was damaged when I got it...maybe I could experiment on that one.

I like Milarms price on 5/30's, although buying 10 would start biting into funds I've allocated to an M305. I could go for 4 to 6...10 is pushing it. Anyone local want to split an order? :)

BTW, thanks for the resource! Never heard of Milarm or their website before.

No worries cz52...nothing illegal going through my mind...I just suspect the 5/30's will be clumbersome to use, although they look good!

I've got a short mag from Wolverine.

It looks factory. Metal floor plate, nice even paint etc. I think it is a ten round plugged to five. Not a five round total.

It is my main mag now. The gun feels more balanced with it. There isn't that rattle like when you use the thirty round ones. Shooting from a bench is easier as well. The gun doesn't draw as many stares with it too.

I can't post any pictures today because I don't have any at work. I'll try tommorrow for you.
