Well.... $28 later and a little time..... voila... sniper mount (No gunsmithing needed)

A little Can Tire flat camo black......


and mounting.....

And you can still use the iron sights. Brass doesn't even hit the scope


Also had a machinist make a thread adapter....

and voila.....

Scope came out of Belarus, Russian and I had a couple of mounts shipped with it. Its a TWSI 6x42 with Russian sniper /\ reticule.

I put the barrel in a vice and put a line level on it. I then put the level on the mount and made it level. The rest can be adjusted through the scope.

I have only shot it once to see if everything was good to go. I was using Norinco yellow box ammo and was doing 2" at 100m. I am going to take it back now that everything is welded, painted and permanently mounted.
