CZ858 Folding Stock. Bends Easily

Hey guys,

Just picked up a CZ858 with a issue folding stock and I was having trouble locking it closed until I realized the stock was bent. I have no idea how it bent as I have babied it since I got it. It locked fine when I purchased it and its really just been sitting since. I re-bent it straight again with just my hands.

Are these supposed to be this soft a metal? I have had two of these stocks before on different rifled and I have never had a problem with it bending.

Anyone else having this problem?
 
no , one time i had to bend it up and i had to use a 1 lb hammer , i pound it several times to get it to move 1/8" .
 
Agreed, I've owned a few, and they have all been extremely rigid, unless you can also rip phone books in half with your bare hands, I can only imagine something is flawed with your stock.
 
I put the rifle on a flat table only exposing the folding stock. I just applied downward force with my hands to bend the stock back. The bend was uniform and was throughout the stock. Just bent enough where the stock would not lock when folded.
