Has anyone else had problems lifting and removing the receiver cover off of your CZ???? The pin comes out easily but when I go to remove the cover,I usually have to pry it off...

use your thumb to push the top cover in and then up.
 
That's what I try to do but it seems to be caught up on something....I'll have to take a closer look at it to see if I can see what it's binding on.

The striker needs to be in the forward (uncocked) position defore you attemot to lift the carrier cover. If not, there isn't enough space for the return spring and the striker spring to flex.
Sometimes, the carrier cover hasn't been installed correctly and is binding. Check if you can see some space between it and the receiver, usually on the right side. Pushing slightly on the carrier cover will release the rear catches then try to pull up and to the rear gently.
