I ahd my CZ858 out yesterday firing a bunch of rounds and all of a sudden I hear this kinda weird sound. Huh, I says to myself and when trying to open or close the bolt realize it ain't moving much. So, I remove the mag and hear a little tinkling sound, kinda like little nits of metal.

Once I got home, I tried to take the rear cover off, but it was jammed, something def. not right. Eventually I was able to get the cover off and here's what ended up coming out:

Striker broken completely off at the tip and then somehow the operating spring got hung up on the sharp point and I basically had to stretch the spring to be able to get the cover off. When I got it off, the spring had managed to go thru the striker and bend downward.

So bascially I need a new striker and operating spring. I think everything else is good, tho my cover took a bit of a beating to finally get it off.

Of course it's a holiday so can't call the store I got it from to see if it's a warranty replacement or what...

Out of curiosity, how many rounds do you have through that rifle? Wolverine should have spares for you (if warranty doesn't work out for you).

Ben

Is that one of the well used spare parts strikers, both CZ's i bought had brand new shiny looking strikers(still look in better shape than yours after 3 crates). the blackish ones were from the used parts kit.

Big thanks to Wolverine!

I rec'd a replacement striker and op spring from Wolverine today after only needing 1 simple phone call to them to explain what happened. Installed today and it still goes click!

Big thank you to Guy @ Wolverine - great customer service!!
