CZ858 Upper/Lower Handguard Replacement Finished! Front Sight Swap? Anyone?

I'm assuming I need some sort of punch to release the Lower Handguard? Or is there another way?

Any way to peel/squeeze the Upper Handguard material off without breaking it? Not much play in there at all, a little bend might snap it in half? Bought Black replacements for the factory set. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Is that a hollow, metal pin? It will slide out the other side? What can I use if have no punches? Thanks.

Good news, I got the upper handguard cover off... by pressing in the clip and rotating.
 
Yep use a punch for the bottom hand guard.

For the top use pliers or a screw driver, to lightly squeeze the two metal clips towards the center until one will fit inside the gap between the wood and metal. Then using your hand hold the metal center piece in place and rotate the wood around it until in comes off.

If you don't have punches you could use a nail that has the same diameter as the hole in the receiver. Use a grinder and grind the end flat and use it as a punch. But I don't recommend that, roll pin punches are like $10 to $20 at princess auto.

Just buy the right tool and you will always have it and you will not risk your gun.

Bought a Punch for $8. Now there is a FAB pistol grip, CZ Black handguards and 5 round mags. I like the "black rifle" look better. Now have to swap out the front sight. Any info on that? Does it unscrew with the sight tool? I have an AK/SKS tool, I'm assuming it's the same one?

Is there a market to sell the old factory furniture (pistol grip/upper&lower handguards, 30/5 mags and factory sight)? Would someone pay a few bucks for this stuff on the EE? Thanks for the info, guys.
