Has anyone used these on their rifle? I'm just looking to see if anyone has info on them because the description I read on them is very vague. Basically all I know is that they are Czech army surplus, night sights that I believe snap over the factory sights. Couple questions I have in mind; are they good for anything? Are they supposed to be tritium sights or is it a rechargable paint? Why have I never heard of them before?

What, I have done a lot of searching for similar or just tritium sights period for this rifle to no luck,

where the hell is the damn link Rowe-75????????

25 bucks. I've known about the for a while but they seem useless and stupid to me. Clip on sights?? Come on. Just glow in the dark paint, you could do it yourself with some paint from the hobby store.

Not to put a damper on the excitement or anything:stirthepot2:

i ordered fiber optic sights from GP, good enough for low light. tritium, send it to the boarder and pick it up.

At on time I had an E-German equivalent made for an AK. It looks about the same-

The night sights fold up when needed or down and out of the way. It worked reasonably well. As one could assume, it's nowhere near as accurate as standard sights. The front clip fell off somewhere/sometime.

Used them in the army in early 90s. They work but are nothing special just illuminated paint. AKM night sights are almost identical. We were issued with two sets, they were meant to be lost. If you need night sights better change the post for fiber optic

I have the East German one too--the paint needs to be "recharged". Some of the more common AK books will show them mounted on a rifle.

My impression was they were only for short range use.

The real tritium sights cost several hundred dollars Not fiber optic, not glow in the dark, not what is imaged above, new manufactured tritium sights. I do not know if they are available online, but I have seen them for sale. If interest is huge I could pick up a bunch and sell them.
