Czech rifle?

Ok got a chance to buy a mauser from a bud for $75!

Before you get to excited its been bubba'd so bad that ....well its bad !
It has the Czech coat of arms on the reciever and I believe its a cz24 made by BRNO. What exaclty is this and if I got it I want to at least try to find a new stock for it. Numerich is sold out who else might have one? Great action and bore is excellent thats why I dont want to pass it up. Good deal???

Sounds like a good deal, I would get it for that if it has a great bore. Not sure on where to grab a stock though. Maybe Boyd's makes a VZ stock...

Often see stocks and parts for them on eBAY. Trouble is IF you can get seller to ship to Canada as U.S. export laws are getting very restrictive (They'll say its Canada fault) Anyway, you might spend same as if you bought a complete one. You might ask the folks what a decent, complete VZ24 fetchs these days.

This rifle has a nonmatching bolt , not a biggie but the bolt is not straight rather its bent. What does this mean?
