Czech Small Arms Sa vz.58 rifles (5.56x45mm)

I've communicated with Casey at Tactical Ordnance, Inc. and the labor for machining the CSA vz.58 5.56x45mm magazine well is $50.00 (shipping is not included in this price). CSA will not be providing free mag well adapters for these rifles. Casey will be checking on the possibility of stocking these adapters for resale and should know in the next week or so if these will be available from Tactical Ordnance, Inc.

Thanks,
Dan

Any idea what pricing is going to look like on these Dan?

I apologize for the late reply. Yes, the original 5.56x45mm CSA manufactured magazines will work in a magazine well that fits/functions with the CSA AR-15 magwell adapter. To switch between the two, you just need to swap the bolt catch and magazine catch parts. Once you've done it a couple of times, it only takes minutes to swap out the parts.

Thanks,
Dan

Thanx Dan.

With machining for the AR mag adaptor, would a CSA mag still work aswell?

For those who are intertested, the cost of machining is about the cost of one CSA mag. I personally have allot of AR mags. So it worth it.

Would CSA consider mfg a model with an AR15 mag well rather than doing this retro fit?

If they sell their rifles in the US or anywhere else in the world this would be a good variant.

Had my csa vz 58 NR done. Sent it to Casey at Tactical Ordnance Inc. I had great customer service and super fast shipping back. The whole thing just cost me shipping $55.

I just had it done from Casey as well and he was speedy quick.
Total cost for me was $176. So $50 for labour and $85 for magwell adapter and the rest was tax and shipping

My rifle is at Tac Ord right now getting machined. Thanks CSA for stepping up the way you did. I'll never have any concerns about buying more of your rifles in the future.
