Recently picked up this old mil-trainer .22
It was being advertised as an FN manufactured rifle for Israel.
However, after quickly checking it over.
I am led to believe this example has nothing to do with FN of Belgium.
No big deal... The shops service was fantastic and I didn't think twice about it.
Really enjoying this one, and after all it was what I wanted.
Anyhow. Put a photo together with images for most of the markings,
I do still believe it was an Israeli rifle.
Only one marking on the reverse side "disk" looked somewhat like hebrew.
DOT manufacture is BRNO Czechoslovakia correct?
Figured the lion stamp was an indicator of this also.
Lastly, the strange 400%25 marking on the rear sight.
Anything to do with sighting at 25 and accurate out to 400?
Maybe from an original 8mm or 7.62 rear sight. No Clue!
Any info or opinions would be appreciated.
