czh-2003 problem cycling?

You need a "Tabbed carrier" :)

Try that and post results; I'm thinking the carrier is getting "hung up" on the disconnect.

I wouldn't feel right if your were to do this mod yourself as it is not a bolt carrier issue. There is 2 posibilities.
1) An issue with your rear cover and the spring guide.
2) The sear or disconnector is being caught by the hammer rod. As seen here;

These are just my suggestions. As I do not have the rifle in my hand I can not tell you for sure.

You need to stone the bottom tab of the bolt carrier "the part that contacts the dissconnector" It will fix it ;)

Agreed on above posts, you can sand it down by hand. Or just run it through more rounds and it should smooth out over time. This one is not the "gremlin" problem, so a new bolt carrier is not needed.

DO NOT SHOOT IT!!!!!! It will damage the gun.

I was able to save mine "last owner shot it" If you do:( you locking lugs will bite into your rails, causing a huge dent in the rail.

Im pretty sure it is just the carrier... my new one does the same thing as did my old ones.

1.Pull back carrier
2.Squeeze&hold trigger
3.Slowly move bolt forward until it locks.

~tada!
Tabbed carrier fixes this.

BigDawg: Contact "Neit Arms" or "Rauch Tactical" and inquire about tabbed carriers. After that you can start looking for gunsmiths if you still have problems.
Don't file, sand or bend anything until "after" doing this fix.

i have seen so many time at range time, 3 time out of four that i ad to help somebody on the firring line , the operating spring rod of the receiver whas pent, dis whas done while removing the cover whilecock. i have use a bench vise for tempory fix and nio problem for now
bang! bang! good luck

1. you do not need a gunsmith .

2. its not the gremlin.

3. its the top of the disconnect getting hung up on the ramp of the carrier, its normal except some are worst than others.

4. make sure you're not missing the trigger wire spring or if weak , replace it .

5. as dsiwy mentioned, lightly polish the carrier ramp that comes in contact with the disconnect.

6. i always apply grease on the ramp before firing.

7. when chambering a round, do not guide the carrier , always let it fly.

8. you do not need a tab carrier to illiminate this, it can help if it was design correctly, another words the front of the tab should be rounder, less round will snag on the disconnect.

I have the same problem, today the bolt got stuck about .5" from being all the way forward and I had to pry it open with a flathead, when I did, I found an empty cartridge. Im really new at this is there a pic of the ramp you say to polish anywhere? Thanks Crutton.

I'd like to go one record as saying that with a "Tabbed Carrier" this problem does not occur; from experience.

i have a tab carrier and it did occur , i rounded the front end of the tab and solve the issue.

like i said, this is normal , some stick more than others.

Agreed. from the video it also looks like he is following the bolt forward with his hand instead of letting it fly. When I do this with my VZ58 it does stick. When I let it go it doesn't....
