CZH2003 VZ58L non-restriced w/chrome lined barrel

Check on the EE forum, not anymore available from dealers, you have to find a used 1 probably.

Any idea why isn't the VZ58L available anymore from dealers?
I think it's still listed on Marstar's site though "out of stock", which could confirm what youre saying.

I'll be disappointed if its true though, as I planned on buying one sometime in the spring.

I guess they are not manufactured anymore because of the added cost:confused:

Just a note: watch for lemons with the CZH2003 rifles. I think about 5 people now have encountered headspace issues that are irreparable (short of a barrel swap, which is not easy to do). I had 2 gunsmiths verify that the chamber was bad from factory.

I contacted Marstar about mine but the guy on the phone didn't think the CZH2003 rifles came from Marstar, so that was a dead-end for me. Since I bought it used on the EE I am stuck with a rifle that gets frequent case separations and is probably unsafe to fire.

I am waiting for new barrels to show up on the market, but I may just give up and buy a new vz-58 (the new ones from wolverine look very nice).

The CZH 2003's came only from Marstar.

Weren't they all restricted? Now relabeled as FSN rifles.

where did you get that idea?

my FSN has a new barrel and the internal doesnt even look like the CZH, see the differences below.

CZ 858 compared to an CZH 2003 VZ 58L

Beside's the fact that the bolt carrier had to be moded & less room in the reciver. There is the saftey is also different. Plus on some of the U-Build's that Marstar had on clearance some of the chamber's of the CZH 2003 series were slightly smaller witch requires some polishing to slightly enlarge it.
