D4064 is now IN STOCK!

I'll search the forum for historical reports, but over all how is this powder performing? It's a really good price, and having to work a load for each batch doesn't seem too bad, but how inconsistent is it? I can load a lot of the calibers I have with D4198.

It's the same as imr4064 except it's oem grade instead of canister. You need to work up a load each time you change lot number, same as with D4198, but that's it, other then that there's no difference.

If someone is reluctant to work up a load everytime, they can buy 2-3 containers, they're all the same lot number. And 10-15lbs of powder should last a while.

I’ve used 4064 in .223 just because it was the cheapest locally. Never bothered to work up accurate loads but 22ish grains was cycling and doing 1.2-2moa out of my 1/9 AR without effort. 55g campro.
In my 1/10 .308 42-43g works well with 168 hpbt.

Hi Canada Ammo

Is this powder of the same lot number? I'd just like to know that if I buy 2 or 3 5-pound jugs whether they'd be the same. I'd just buy a single to try otherwise

5 pounders all gone already? Was just getting ready to put a order in.

They were back. I ordered one, and some other things, and between that bit of shopping and completing checkout it went out of stock and silently dropped off of my order, putting me below the free shipping threshold.

Not too impressed :/

I have some 308 and 223 loaded up for testing, but it's been pissing rain here...50mm in less then 24hrs

The D4064 is excellent powder in the 308 so far. About 3/4 grain faster then Varget and higher density. I was getting ES of 11fps with my first loads.
D4198 is back in stock now, I will definitely be grabbing more D4064 when it comes available again.
