I got a 12.5" DA barrel on the way for my old Wingmaster and I need to replace the front sight as I do not have a ghost ring for the rear. I would like to just get a F/O front sight. Does anyone one the factory thread pitch of the DA front sight. Thanks.

If your barrel has the large front blade it is brazed on during assembly. There will be no threaded hole from factory. You will have to remove or lower the front sight and drill and tap for a bead. Also if it is the removable choke model you will have very little material left to hold the bead if you completely remove the sight. The short barrels usually shoot high with just a bead so your best bet would be to pattern the gun, find out how high your front bead needs to be, grind the original blade down and use it as a raised base to drill, tap, and install a bead at appropriate height.

I just got the barrel today, I see what you mean. I will do just that, thanks. Unless I find a rear Ghost ring sight fir it.

If your receiver is tapped, a rear XS sight would be good and then you csn keep the front blade.
My Grizzly is really accurate with the same 12.5" barrel.
