I got the mag fed Dominion Arms Grizzly with the 12.5" barrel and no buttstock from CanadaAmmo by accident. I ordered, changed my mind, called and cancelled, and got an email confirming cancellation of the order. Next day, I get a shipping notification saying they still shipped it.

So I said "whatever, NEW shotgun!", picked it up, and got a stock off my buddy. Except the bolt that worked on his Remington 870, the shotgun the Grizzly is based off of, didn't fit. The hole is smaller and the threads are closer together. I'll call CA tomorrow and ask WHY I have this shotgun, if they know the thread size, and if they don't know, I'll send it back and ask for that check they told me they would send after I cancel the order.

But I thought see if you folks know what thread size and length that bolt should be. This is the shotgun in question:

Any and all help will be appreciated.

Thank you for your time,

The thread adapter on the back of the receiver will thread out so you can take that to a fastener supplier without lugging the gun along. The length is 10 1/8".

This is interesting because the original Grizzly stock bolt thread was not metric and an original stock bolt will not work with the mag fed one. I will post if I get a reply from CANADA AMMO

If you have an original Grizzly stock you need a 170mm M6x1.0 bolt while for the Hogue 12" LOP stock you need a 150mm M6x1.0 bolt. The bolts can be obtained from Fastenal, however you will have contact your local store to order. The 150mm bolt part # for a stainless bolt is M72550150A20000

Regular 870 I think is 28 tpi. I ran into the same problem and CanadaAmmo hooked me up. Awesome service.
