Good Morning

I was wondering if a JR carbine lower would marry up with the DA 50 BMG or if it needs to be a AR-15 lower, the reason I ask is I would rather have a non restricted 50 BMG vs restricted and I know they have plans on making a non restricted lower but who knows when that will come.

Thank you for any help

No that would not work.

The problem with any lower that would accept the DA upper is that it will accept any AR15 upper and would have to be classed as restricted.

It looks like for the ATRS lower to work the upper needs to be modified.

Thank the Lab for that. Rick put a ton of time and effort into building something that would work and be non-restricted. Despite setbacks we have a viable solution. Not ideal but viable.
