Da 50 scopes

Dont mind the smart ass comments by these clowns .. Im running a Sightron SIII 6-24x50 from Mystic Precision cost around 1K , I would suggest something At least Japanese made and from a maker with a good warranty , Bushnell Elite Tactical or the Vortex Viper or Razor might be worth looking into too . As for rings dont skimp , Im running the Badger Max50 extra high rings from Brownells .
 
Got a smoking deal on a holosun red dot!

All joking aside. I know of one that had a Bushnell elite on it which worked well. It needs to be 50 cal rated for the recoil and have sufficient eye relief. 3.5-4" with 4" like on a NF scope being preferred.

Clowns indeed. I picked up a great Nikon 4.5-18 40 from prophet on the manufacture sale. Great warranty and unbelievable price. But the tall weaver rings are not tall enough to clear off the rail. Hope I can pick some decent ones from wholesale in the morning.
 
I'm running a Vortex Crossfire II 6-24x50 on my DA50. Parallax adjustment went all weird after 100 rounds so I am sending the scope in under warranty - I have a couple of these scopes lying around so will just change it out while the other is off for repair or replacement. In the longer term I will likely upgrade to a NF once I have a good grasp of the accuracy potential of the DA50.

I agree, time and money will tell. I was looking at some nf up at atrs, very nice
 
Don't cheap out on rings for sure, I got a set of Warne Tactical, Badger and Nightforce rings are also excellent. Running Sightron, would like a Nightforce later.
