If your planning on buying one. Remember... Buyer Beware.

A lot of people on this forum are having issues with the forestock falling off everytime you fire. My buddy has one and he's pretty pissed off about it.

I just like the shortness of it. I plan on buying a high quality sawoff in the future but for now this cheapy gun will have to do.

TDC has a good point.....the backpacker is a pretty heavy gun for it's size and a grizzly with a 12.5" barrel and a short houge stock like the one pictured above is is only 3 or 4 inches longer with 4 in the tube.

whats the difference between the grizzly, and the norinco "homeland security" ? all the pics i've seen of the grizzly look identical to the homeland security that I picked up from frontier last year

The above is a 14" HP-9 with a Houge Short LOP stock on it.

However, it has a slip on recoil pad that adds around 1".

The Backpacker is lighter and smaller for sure.

The biggest reason I bought it is that it come apart (camping) and hell, it was $150!

Mine doesn't fall apart when fired and is very well finished.
