Not sure which forum this belongs in. Is it a black and green or hunting and sporting? Or is it one of those "check this baby out" types? Does anyone here want to chime in on how these things stack up? I sure can't afford a Winchester '87. Impulse bought one from Canam tonight, just wanted to know what the consensus is. Didn't go back too far in the threads, so not sure if this has been beaten to death or not.

At this point, my plan is to try finding a full butt stock for it, nothing more. I'm not crazy about hip shooting but I do like odd and unusual things that go bang. I expect the action will be gritty at best, so I'll plan for tinkering.

Looking forward to any responses/reviews, hopefully they aren't dismally negative!

I ended up doing a bit of searching here on the forum, sounds like there was some buzz in anticipation of their arrival, but not a whole lot after. I guess its a bit of a novelty item. Read some reviews and common problem seems to be ejection. I'm still looking forward to getting my hands on it though. But I really want to find a full stock to put on it. I'm not crazy about the sawed off style, even though I did love T2 when I was a kid.

If anyone who knows where to find one reads this, please let me know. I'm a fairly handy type of guy, but I'm not terribly interested in whittling a stock for this bang stick if I don't have to.

It's a fun gun. You don't buy it because you want a useful shotgun.

It's a lot of fun to shoot clays with.

Are you speaking of the sawed down "T2" version, or the 1887 in general? I understand the limitations of a cut down shotgun, no matter what style of action. I'm hoping to put a stock on it and at least have the semblance of a reasonably shootable firearm ;).

Disappointed, after I received an email stating it was shipped I found an alternate source for the same shotgun, but with a full stock and longer barrel (and 50 dollars less). Garrh.
