In your opinion, what were some of the better Years and Lot numbers, for accuracy and consistency.
And what about some of the worst years, and Lot numbers?

DA 64 was primo. I shot a lot off BEFORE I knew what I had.

Any DA ammo is better than any IVI. Even though IVI uses or did use exactly the same machines. Not that there's anything wrong with IVI. It's consistent, but not as accurate. Haven't a clue about lots. Never bothered to look. You'd likely have trouble finding specific lots anyway. DA has been gone for 30ish years and IVI doesn't sell ball ammo to civilians.

I've shot alot of DA and found 67 pretty good in my rifle. IVI 1980-1 was better than the rest of IVI.

I only bought a few hundred rounds, and it wasn't cheap, but it shot great. Nice groups and clean. I wish that I had bought more.

I shot a case of 64 IVI and found it good except for some tarnishing. Kept every casing too for reloading.
