If this gun ban goes through could the norinco factory retool m14 line into m1 garand? Sorry if this has already been asked. I ll buy 2 :)

looking at the recent batches of m14 rifles from china...…. I highly doubt china could pull it off. The new m14 rifles are made of cast junk parts and are dangerous... should be a recall

Don't buy from communists.
I stand firm with Gundoggy
LPC is an Communist installment in Canada, Never Buy from A Communist. Look at all the PPE the LPC bought for our health care workers that is sub par, you think their guns are any better, ALSO If you believe in freedom, democracy, or religion don't buy anything from a Communist country, don't be the "useful idiot" sorry it had to be said.

While I have owned Chinese guns and still have a couple, I am not of the mind to purchase any more , given recent glibal events and Hong Kong and the LPC response to everything Chinese..

I bought one of the Norinco M14s a decade ago. Each and every time I took it to the range something stupid broke, last one was a poor case hardening job on the hammer & disconnector causing it to do 3 round bursts before jamming.

Junk and will never purchase another of thier products, forget re-tooling or re-building.
The only upside to this would be the possibility of getting some money for the POS on a buyback.

We just need affordable parts kits for all the bare receivers that made their way here from Italy. Where'd all the parts off those guns end up? USA?

Yes. The rifles were to go south but due to laws being past, the receivers were not allowed to go to the USA. Parts were allowed and now most anything that has an Italian manufacturer marking commands a premium price.

The Turks should do this well and at a good price. Judging from Tisas handguns and Huglu shotguns we may be in to something!
