I have the dominion arms chromish one...it has all the extras except adjustable sights...vid on youtube on what to do to prevent the break in scratch you will get from frame to slide
I have it only from racking it a few times then very fine sand paper to take burs off....little late but oh well.

the dominion arms name is almost not visible..the norinco ones I think don't have any markings but 45acp...I think..
where you ordering from

1911a1 ordered

congrats on your order..what site did you order and post link to what you ordered...
canada ammo has sales so probably from them..but still interested..
only real thing I wasn't happy with mine was the safety looked like it was kicked around in scrap bin before installed..lol
will be ordering couple of parts later this summer...no biggie
if you look close at my photo you can see the scratch....so before you rack slide take it apart and buff the burs from the frame..if you getting the chrome one...that photo shows the scratch and I had only racked it a few times...

They look like the ones Marstar has. $35?

I have a set and they are very nice.

I put the included black rubber ones on mine, being determined to not spend a penny on the thing ;)

Other than on a new recoil spring.

Edit. Good to see you got the sale price :)

+1 for me.

My 'unmarked' Norc 1911A1 with new grips & stock Colt S70 trigger installed:

Do your grips fit tight? I put wood ones I got from Marstar on mine and there is some play in them. I'm not sure if it's the gun or the grips. Maybe some sort of shim or washer could fix it.

nice..
i have a 1911 commander also norinco and not one problem...only thing I regret is the squared trigger guard
oh yea price of ammo too..lol

It was sometimes a bit hesitant to chamber a round (lead bullet), so I put a 18.5 pounder in. Stock spring would probably be ok with ball ammo, or the feed ramp could be polished.

Now the only issue I have is I pick up the odd casing that has been mangled as though the slide slammed down across the mouth. We're talking crunched. No idea how that happens since the gun functions fine. It also does not lock open with some mags, but I don't care. It's the mags probably.

I was bench resting last night to test some reloads. I was only shooting maybe 12m, but it cut groups on par with or better than my STI and Ruger. I am chagrined...
7 shots in a hole no bigger than a loonie in one case

My double diamond hardwood grips pictured fit fine on my unmarked Norc 1911A1. You will likely find it's your grips that have the play in them. I've had similar issues with other grips in the past. You can make shims with hard plastic packaging. Just cut in little squares & use a hole punch for the centers to go over the grip screw bushings. Usually gives you enough adjustment so the grips will fit better without movement but still be fairly flush to the sides of the grip frame.
