All the furniture would need to be replaced to create a facsimile of a Vietnam period correct piece. That includes the hand guards, the buttstock, and the pistol grip. That's not hard to do, but the prices of those parts might dissuade you.

I have the hand guards and buttstock already. Not to worried about the pistol grip. The other parts, all in time.
