DAA Racer mag pouch: Trouble mounting to belt

I bought some mag pouches on here, they seem to come with all the hardware and inserts (they are used).

I bought a DoubleTap belt to mount them on, I'm finding the screws aren't quite long enough to grasp enough thread to get started. I got a couple on, but had to use a clap to squeeze plate down far enough. Is this common?

I'll be heading to a local fastener place to match screws and get something a bit longer, just wondering?
 
Generally the cutout in the pouch that wraps around the belt is very tight. But if your belt is going into the cutout section, then the screw should be plenty long enough. I would say it is the wrong screw if you are still having trouble.
 
I had the same problem. Turns out, for whatever reason, DAA sent some out with shorter screws but the newer pouches come with an extra set of correct length screws.. I have 2 setups (one black and blue pouches and one black and red pouches). Both the red and blue pouches required longer screws but the black ones were fine.
 
I had the exact problem, I emailed Saul and he sent me some longer ones. Here is my exact email to Saul and he sent me them

I would like 2x M4 for the hanger on the one pouch
2x hex head long bolts for mounting them sideways (nose out)
and 2x short M5 also for the side spacer for the sideways mount (nose out)

I appreciate you sending the correct hardware. I assume these issues are worked out and all new products ship with the correct hardware. I love your products. I was just a little confused when I got them and they each pouch had different length bolts and did not work as they were supposed to. I am not worried I will still continue to use and support DAA!
