Daisy 853c

My son just got signed up for cadets and their marksmanship component is done with a Daisy 853c. Anyone on the network here know where these can be purchased? I’d like to get him one so he can plink at home as well as with the cadet group

I don't think the 853 is available any longer.

The Daisy 753c and 753S are very similar.

There is an Avanti 853 which is the Daisy un CQd line. They are out there but even the Cadet program is using old guns for parts to rebuild the ones out there with units. Big surprise right...kinda a CF thing...tradition right.....lol

Daisy Avanti 753s is available. It has a synthetic stock -- hence the "s" presumably. Try D&L Airguns or Airgun Source.

Daisy 753S Match is the way to go.

I recommend you get the one that comes with match barrel. Mine came with a Daisy's barrel which was ok, but after it was worn out and replaced with Lothar Walter match barrel from D&L. The groups are much better, one hole at 20ft prone support.
