well i have a huge droptine buck at my other bait. wont score high but he has alot of mass and and alot of character! but i might get buck fever when one of these guys show up! i only have hunted that spot sense last late october. so i dont know if doube droper is only nocturnal in muzzleloader and rifle season or if he is also in bow season.

Most bucks are very predictable in the early season, if he is coming in good towards the end of aug and you have the wind for sept let him have it. I have found oct to be hit or mostly miss for mature deer in daylight. November all bets are off they can show up when ever you just have to be sitting. Dec can be real good if it's cold the boys get hungry and show up to replenish the reserves.

Old heavy drop tine buck are the kind of deer that get me fired up.
