So I have been doing everything I could find on the internet to fix my mosin bolt, I bought another and compared. The first 2 pics are the dents and the 3rd is how far it closes before it jams and i have to use force. Whats my option at this point? You can see the paint from the barrel on the bolt in the second pic.

Those dings look like grind marks to me.
Are you having a hard time closing when it's empty or with a round?

Most Mosins I've encountered usually take a slap to close on steel case surplus rounds.

Might be grinding against the receiver. I noticed a polish section where the bolt as closing was rubbing, but my bolt just as smooth as anything out there.

I wouldn't worry about the dent. on closer inspection, probably due to repeated slamming down the bolt. And it rubbing against the receiver.

Nothing to salvage. It's a Mosin!
Looks like a sloppy job to make the longer camming part fit the receiver. If you have the know how, just remove a few thousands of an inch off the camming part, not the receiver and polish it.
