I have always owned Smith and Wesson revolvers, what is the differnce between them, this perticular gun is a three barrel set with 6,4 and 2 inch barrles. Is it worth $700.00-$800.00

Condition is suppose to be mint unfired.I don't have a picture

The price sounds fair but the 4" barrel will be prohib, so all the usual prohib stuff will apply.

that's a very good price, if it comes with everything and it's still a good price if it just comes with the barrels. Make sure it has the barrel nut spanner, you can have a machinist make you one, but they can be a pain to find otherwise. I love mine, very quick lock cycle, that and a strong lock up was their main improvement over smith and wessons. Well and the interchangeable barrels. Wish i had one of the 16" barrels they made, only have 3", 4" 6" 10" and one other, not sure if it was 5, 8 or 2...think it was 2. memory fails me

"what is the difference between them"
Every thing is different on a DW except the barrel threads.
It's a real clean sheet design.
Speaking practically if you like the double action on a Smith you probably won't like it on the DW.
.357/.22 barrel wrenches are available on Ebay.
