Looking at one of these for my carbine, a little pricey but like the fact of free floating and two piece simple installation. Any thoughts? I have looked at some cheaper alternatives but feel like splurging if the are really that good.
 
If I'm not mistaken it's the two piece rail that is free floating right? I got one and it was REALLY easy with a flathead screwdriver for screws... that's all you need. I took off the plastic 7" handguards and voila, it's on that quickly. You don't even need 5 minutes. I noticed my accuracy was up significantly too.... just using factory American Eagle rounds at 100 yards. Definitely tightened up the group.
 
I have an Omega X rail on my DDM4 (older version) and it's great. Very light weight. I find it a little slimmer than other handguards, but it's definitely a great rail system.
 
I have an Omega rail on my carbine. The quality is awesome, I guarantee you'll be happy with that rail. It's solid, requires no modification to your rifle, and looks awesome. This rail sold made me a big DD fan....
