Daniel Defense rifle is complete, well almost.

So I finally pieced together my rifle, and I think she's ready. Well it's not really a build but here is the parts list:

-Daniel Defense M4A1 Mil Spec +
-BCM Mod4 chargin handle
-Troy Industires Font/Rear BUIS
-Surefire M600U Scout
-Haley Strategic Thorntail mount
-Aimpoint Patrol Rifle Optic
-American Defense Manufacturing AD-68H

What do you guys think of this setup?

Damn that's nice! I really like the colour of the upper and lower receivers.

Only thing I'd change is switching to a Vltor stock. Some guy at CSC talked me into buying one and am I ever glad I did.
 
Yeah the stock is temporary, it's going back to the stock the rifle came with. I know most people dislike the new Daniel defense furniture but it is superbly ergonomic and a well thought out design. Plus it matches the color of the cerokete job.

Looks great, and will be nice with the DD factory stock...you might wanna pull the light back a tad, keep it keep it out of the blast pattern. My $.05 anyway.

How do you like the Thorntail light mount? I've been thinking of picking one up.

Total = $3185 + tax/shipping

After taxes and shipping it was around $3500-3600. Pricey, but I didn't want to hold back this time. I had a norinco previously and I thought it was time to treat myself to my dream rifle.

Thorntail mount is awesome. Barely anything to it so it's super lightweight and it is adjustable so you can configure your light on any rail ( I think you can mount it 8 different ways). Rock solid too, but make sure you use loctite. I loctite anything on my rifle that has screws
