Daniel Defense rifle is complete, well almost.

Nice rifle man and nice choice in accessories too. The only thing I would change is the weapon light location. Its too far out if you ask me(you will end up with GPR on the lens most likely and a cracked lens of its too much in the blast zone) and it is on the wrong side for activation for a right handed shooter(I assume you are a right handed shooter as the rifle is RH). If you place it on the left side in a non-angled mount and a bit further back, you will be able to actuate the tail cap switch with your thumb from a VFG without removing your hand and without the use of a pressure switch(which complicates the system and increases the chance of failures)

Nicely done. I like the less is more approach in that you didn't add a whole bunch of unnecessary pieces to what is a fine firearm, just what's needed to get the job done.
Saying that have you considered a VFG, my DD runs one and I prefer it (mine uses the older style stock which is easier to get a visual match too though). How sweet would it be for DD to produce a VFG that matched their factory stocks that they now use, Daniel Defense are you listening.
Had a VFG on my old rifle, and grew out of it. The way a grip my rifle, i don't require one. But i hear ya, DD should totally make a soft touch overmold for those guys looking for a VFG that matches their new stocks!

I hear ya! I had it configured that way, but the way i grip my rifle, my thumb accesses the light more comfortably in this configuration. I know I'm weird but i cant help it haha!

Very nice mines the same DDM4A1 mil spec + I left it stock tossed o the BCM mod 4 as well and whent with magpul back ups in fde and the vortex sparc 2 ( waiting for a T2) and I also have the matching DD front grip.

Great gun runs as hood as it looks!
