Hi everyone,

For those of you who have tried both, which of the shipped DD stock and grip do you prefer; the new Soft Touch Overmolded, or the older Magpul MOE? I know there are better options than both out there, but life dictates that I stick with one of the two stock options.

So which one do you personally prefer and why?

Thanks everyone,
Cal.

I ditched the MOE stock and went with a SOPMod stock and the standard A2 grip. However, I'd run with the magpul, it's simple, light and has an OK feel to it.

I just have the standard MOE stock that comes with the DD. Its rigid and there is no 'play'; that's all I really care about. Can't comment on any other types.

Mine came with a MOE, it was fine at the beginning but it started to get sloppy with time. It was light and simple which I liked. I replaced it with a B5 SOPMOD Bravo, couldn't be happier. Cheek weld is better now as well.

Had the MOE on mine...sucked ass, no cheek support. Swapped it out for a SOPMOD Gen2, couldn't be happier. I run this stock on all of my guns that have a milspec buffer tube, and would do the same even if I had the new Soft Touch stuff.

As far as grip goes, I've always liked the MOE over the standard A2...

Soft touch for sure.. Cheek welds are better and the rubber helps with grip. It was designed by a former Nike employee. I found the stock to be tighter and with easier adjustment... Soft touch all the way! It separates your AR from the rest as well.
